The representative of the Ukrainian delegation to the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), MP Oleksiy Goncharenko wore during a performance of rubber gloves. So he wanted to show that it is protected from “toxic Russia”, reports “UKRINFORM”.

“I brought gloves, I will speak in the session hall of the PACE in this chemical defense. After all, if our colleagues are going to open the doors to the Russian delegation, they must clearly understand that it is necessary to provide all members with chemical suits and radiation protection”, — he explained.

During his speech he emphasized that with colleagues from Russia “unsafe to shake hands and touch doorknobs”. For this he made the remark, reports TASS. In response, the Chairman of the organization, Liliane Maury Pasquier said Goncharenko that he is not on the stage, and the need for props dressing is missing.

The behaviour policy is not indifferent to users of social networks. Some Twitter users wondered if he forgot to complement your look with a plunger, others have suggested that the PACE Goncharenko came to scrubbing toilets.

The Russian delegation was denied the right to vote, the right to participate in the meeting of statutory bodies and participation in monitoring activities of the Assembly in April 2014 after the annexation of Crimea. The PACE felt that Moscow’s actions become a violation of international law.
