Lukashenko has fed Putin’s pancakes

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has invited Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to visit his small home in the Mogilev region, where the heads of state had an informal chat. This is stated on the official website of the Belarusian leader.

Lukashenko invited Putin to come to Alexandria — agro, the birthplace of the Belarusian head of state. He gave the Russian President a tour of the native village, then took him to Trofimova Krynica, where the leaders drank the healing water from the spring. The source was a grandfather of Lukashenko — a carpenter with a trophy, said the press service of the President.

The village heads of state moved on a modified GAZ-69 1960-x years of release, which was ruled by Lukashenko himself. President of Belarus showed Putin his own house and treated him to pancakes and hash Browns. It is noted that menu in main dinner were also dishes of Belarusian cuisine.

Earlier in Belarus finished Fifth forum of regions, where the heads of state discussed issues of cooperation. In addition to the presidents of the two countries participated in the event, the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, the special representative of the President of Russia on development trading-economic cooperation with Belarus Mikhail Babich and others.
