Nine climbers killed in Nepal

Nine climbers died in the mountains in the West of Nepal. It is reported by The Himalayan Times.

The tragedy happened on the southern slopes of the massif dhaulagiri. The tourists camp located at an altitude of 3500 meters, was struck by a landslide, followed by a snow storm.

A rescue helicopter was sent on the morning of 13 October.

In July, two climbers from Russia ascended to the top of Latok 1 height 7145 meters in Pakistan. One of them, Sergey Glazunov, fell off a mountain and died. The second Russian — Alexander Gukova — managed to save. Helicopters could not reach it due to bad weather conditions. The climber was taken to hospital in serious condition.
