The White house security had to separate the head of the administration of U.S. President John Kelly and Corey Lewandowski, who participated in the work of election headquarters of Donald trump in 2016. It is reported by The New York Times.
According to the newspaper, the dispute between the men escalated into physical abuse behind the doors of the Oval office of the White house. It happened in February. Interlocutors of the edition told that the day of the accident both men met with the President at his workplace. According to sources, Kelly began to criticize Lewandowski in front of the trump, and after they left the presidential office, demanded to take him out of the building.
Between men began to quarrel. At some point Kelly grabbed adviser to the President for his shirt collar and tried to pin to the wall, then push him out of the West wing of the building. Lewandowski, in turn, physical violence to the head of the device was not used.
The White house declined to comment on reports about the incident. Lewandowski also did not make any statements. According to the newspaper, the incident demonstrates the “chaos trump is willing to tolerate in the White house.”
In September, Kelly was suspected of the authorship of articles for The New York Times with criticism of the American leader. Corey Lewandowski was one of the managers of the election campaign trump in 2016.
