The “Death of Stalin” British Director Armando’s Iannucci nominated for the European film Academy in the category “Best European Comedy”. Reported by Deutsche Welle on Tuesday, October 23.

European Film Award is considered the European equivalent of the American “Oscar”. The ceremony for the 31st time will be held on 15 December in Seville.

For the title of best Comedy will also compete French film “Holiday planner” Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakash and Portuguese “Diamantino” Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt.

In Russia, rolling certificate “Stalin’s Death” was withdrawn in January 2018.
