The athletic Commission of Nevada has extended the disqualification of the Russian champion of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC) Habib Nurmagomedov and Irish fighter Conor McGregor to complete the investigation of the incident after UFC 229 in Las Vegas. It is reported by MMAFighting.
It is noted that the final decision in respect of the fighters will be made on December 10. Also, the Commission decided to return Nurmagomedov 50 percent of the fee from withheld two million dollars.
According to the journalist MMAjunkie John Morgan, attorney General’s office believes that Nurmagomedov was responsible for the incident. The prosecution demands to freeze its revenues from the match, including bonuses.
Nurmagomedov on the night of October 7, defeated McGregor and became UFC champion. After the match, the Dagestani fighter has escaped from the octagon and attacked the coach of the Irish against Dillon Dennis and his second zubayra tukhugov attacked the Irish. The result Nurmagomedov left the arena, accompanied by guards.
