Russian fans responded to the accusations in the defeat of Rome’s metro

Fans of the Moscow football club CSKA in their community responded to the accusations in the Roman metro.

“Many media outlets spreading false information about the incident with the participation of CSKA fans in Rome’s subway. Even officials of Italy without investigation hastened to blame all of our fans. Apparently, they are trying to absolve themselves of responsibility for what happened,” said the fans.

According to them, no “dancing, jumping and chaos” on the escalator was not. “Among the victims of the most severe injuries to the girls, they have broken legs and torn soft tissue. Besides, medical care to the scene was getting about 30-40 minutes”, — stated in the message.

On October 23 at the Repubblica metro station in Rome collapsed escalator. According to various sources, the number of victims ranged from 15 to 30 people. Most of the wounded are CSKA fans, who came to Rome for the third round of the group stage of the Champions League against “Roma” (3:0).

Italian authorities have accused the Russian fans. According to the newspaper La Repubblica, fans of the Moscow club “jumped on the escalator crowd”, after which he collapsed. The Prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the incident.
