After successful rehabilitation and adaptation to wild conditions animal rights activists released into the woods of the Tver region brown bear named Michelle, which was found in the Nenets Autonomous district (NAO). About this TASS said the head of the rescue Centre bears the International Fund of protection of animals Sergey Pazhetnov.

“Her along with another female named Manya released into the woods. All is well, full adaptation to wild conditions,” – said Pagenow.

A bear cub orphan, found in may, reindeer in the tundra, in the village of Kartika. The animal was taken to the reserve in Naryan-Mar. In June he was transferred to the rescue Centre bears in the Tver region for rehabilitation.

The rescue centre bears IFAW — the only such institution in Russia. He has more than 20 years. During this time, rehabilitated 200 cubs who were able to return to the wild.
