The head of the company Inteco Management and the wife of former Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov, Elena Baturina, has won first place in the ranking of the wealthiest women in Russia, compiled by Forbes magazine.
Her fortune is estimated at $ 1.2 billion. After the sale of the construction company “INTECO” Mikail Shishkhanov in 2011, the main business Baturina accounts for the hotel chain in Russia and Europe, as well as projects in the areas of real estate and alternative energy.
Baturina was the only member of the list with a fortune exceeding a billion dollars. Second place with $ 600 million went to the CEO of an online clothing store Wildberries Tatiana Bakalchuk.
She slipped from the second spot ex-wife of a businessman and the owner of football club “Monaco” Dmitry Rybolovlev Elena, which is now ranked third with the same figure of 600 million dollars.
On the fourth and fifth place is the co-owner of airline “Siberia” (flies under the S7 Airlines brand) Natalia Fileva — also estimated at $ 600 million, and former owner of the plant “Lebedyanskiy” Olga Belyavtseva with 500 million.
