According to the newspaper, from purchases of Iranian oil, refuses two largest oil companies in the country, state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and China Petrochemical Corp. First, they bought about 600 thousand barrels per day.
In addition, to cease cooperation with Iran plans one of the largest banks, China’s Bank of Kunlun is owned by CNPC. Still it went through all the calculations for the supply of Iranian fuel.
According to analysts, the decision can be two main causes: pressure from the United States, introduced sanctions against Iran, and the decline in prices for oil from Saudi Arabia. Led to them increasing production in the Kingdom. So the authorities are trying to hush up the scandal with the murder of journalist Jamal Hackage.
