Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva won the long program at the Grand Prix in Canada, that allowed her to take third place overall in the competition. About it reports TASS.
For your rental Medvedev received 137.08 points, in total she scored 197,91 points. After the short program, 18-year-old athlete was seventh. The victory was won by another Russian Elizabeth Tuktamysheva, she has 203,32 points. Second place went to Japanese Mako yamasita (203,06).
In the short program, Medvedev showed the worst result in his career. She failed some of the technical elements. In particular, Medvedev fell after the execution of a triple flip.
The Grand Prix in Canada has become for Medvedev’s second official competition after leaving the group Eteri Tutberidze. She now lives in Toronto and he studied under the guidance of Brian Orser.
