That Ukrainians will increase gas prices by a quarter on October 19 was announced by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman. According to the head of the government, the need to raise the price of gas arose because of debts of Ukraine to its international partners. Otherwise the Ukraine will be declared a default.
The next day, October 20, it became known that the international monetary Fund (IMF) will allocate Ukraine $ 3.9 billion. The loan is designed for 14 months. He should replace the agreement concluded in 2015 and expire in March 2019.
