In Ingushetia have decided not to verify the legality of the agreement on the border with Chechnya

Deputies of the National Assembly of Ingushetia has withdrawn from the constitutional court of the Republic a request for verification of the legality of the agreement on the border with Chechnya. On Monday, 29 October, reports TASS with reference to the regional Parliament.

“Filed the application for revocation request the two members of Parliament of the Republic of Ingushetia, as well as statements of two citizens of revocation of complaints,” — said in the National Assembly.

Thus, they explained, of the 12 submitted by deputies earlier statements were only ten. “The right to request to the constitutional court of the Republic of Ingushetia possesses, including one third of the deputies of the National Assembly of the quantitative composition (32). Since one third is not less than 11 members, respectively, in the opinion of the two statements, the query becomes invalid”, — noted in Parliament.

In addition, it filed a motion to dismiss the Chairman of the constitutional court of the Republic of Ayup Gagiev. “Gagawin adopted by the decision in the proceedings would not serve the principle of objectivity and impartiality in connection with his direct participation in virtue of official position in the preparation of the agreement,” — said in the National Assembly, Recalling that Gagiev was part of the Commission on interaction with state authorities of Chechnya to identify the boundaries between regions.

Also in the constitutional court of the Republic submitted the Declaration adopted at a gathering of representatives of arthouses 27 Oct. It notes that the participants of the gathering supported the conclusion of an agreement on the borders of the Republic of Chechnya.

Earlier in October, it was reported that several Republican deputies and citizens was sent to the constitutional court inquiry about check of legality of the agreement on the border with Chechnya.

The agreement on the border between Chechnya and Ingushetia was signed on September 26. The exchange of residential areas has triggered a wave of protests in Magas. According to activists, the exchange is not equal. However, people from the settlements in the Chechen-Ingush border said at a meeting with head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, I see no reason to argue.

The territorial dispute between the two republics lasted since the collapse of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR. New aggravation of the dispute about the border occurred to the heads of subjects in 2012. Then the parties are unable to divide the Sunzha and Malgobek districts. Each Republic created the Commission for the definition of territorial-administrative borders with a neighbor.
