The acting Governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov introduced the regional Council a bill to provide social guarantees to former civil servants — head of the regional administration and the speaker of the regional Council. It is reported “Kommersant” on Tuesday, October 30.
“The initiative will give recently retired Oleg Korolev kind of “Golden parachute” — the annual health and resort services, service, transport and communications, as well as the right to freely visit government bodies”, — the newspaper writes.
The explanatory note says that privileges are distributed on the existing first persons, the statement may have been provided to the Governor and the speaker have reached retirement age or became disabled.
The bill will be considered at the meeting of the relevant Committee next week.
Oleg Korolev announced the resignation on 2 October. Commenting on the decision, he noted the successes of his generation in the salvation of the country and the region “in difficult ninetieth years”.
