The increase in environmental charge, initiated by the Ministry of environment, may lead to a rise in price of beer. About it writes “Kommersant” with reference to the letter of the Executive Director of the Union of brewers Vyacheslav Mamontova, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the plans of the Ministry of natural resources, 2019 should increase the rates of ecological gathering for 54 categories of goods. By law, manufacturers have a choice to pay it or dispose of waste yourself. Most companies choose the first option to not invest in infrastructure for recycling.
Brewers are primarily concerned with the fee for packaging of aluminum and polymer. First going to increase from 2.4 thousand to 20 thousand rubles per ton, the second from 3.8 thousand to 10.4 thousand. “In order to avoid shock effect is further proposed to apply formula gradually raise rates on the most sensitive for business positions within three years”, — Mamontov wrote in his message to Medvedev.
