In the US one of the leading neuroscientists from Vanderbilt University in Pennsylvania and continued to work after allegations of abuse of a student. Reported by the New York Post.

David Swett allegedly forced the girl to take drugs and raped her, when they both participated in the conference. The student reported the incident to the authorities at their educational institution. Information is then brought to Vanderbilt University, but the man continued to teach. He was suspended from duty after 11 months.

Dean of the faculty where he taught Swett, confirmed his removal. Information about the scientist also disappeared from the website of the institution.

According to New York Post, the victim, who requested anonymity, refused to submit a statement to the police.

He Swett rejected charges in the address. His lawyer said that the girl’s statement groundless and politicized. He stressed that the accusations are anonymous and not backed by evidence.
