The fifth part of Russians refused summer holiday because of lack of funds. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to survey data research organization “Levada-center”.
It turned out that 18 percent of respondents didn’t go anywhere, because they didn’t have the money to travel. 24 percent of respondents spent their summer vacation at the cottage or garden area.
In the Caucasus or in the Crimea rested 8 percent of Russians, and 18 percent of respondents spent their vacation at home.
Only 5 percent of respondents were able to visit in the summer of 2018 abroad, and 4 percent have travelled within the country.
Also 7 percent of respondents used a vacation to visit relatives, while 5 percent of respondents admitted that in the summer of moonlighting.
In may, the study of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM) has shown that half of Russians were planning to spend summer vacation at home. It was explained that 45 percent of Russians decided not to go anywhere, 34 percent spend the summer on summer residences, and 14 percent in the village or another city. Only 4 percent of Russians were going to go abroad. 44 percent of respondents refused to travel because of lack of funds.
