Russian Academy of Sciences and the Scientific and technical Council of Roscosmos in the next two weeks will present the concept of lunar exploration by Russia, told RIA Novosti the General Director of rostec Dmitry Rogozin.
“We now await proposals from the Academy of Sciences and the Scientific and technical Council of Roscosmos in the near future. In the next two weeks they should go to the us and to present his vision of the work on the moon”, — said Rogozin.
He said that now is a more ambitious task than the one that was in the US in the 70-ies of the last century, because Russia will not land on the moon, but to create full-fledged database visited.
In September Rogozin said that Russia will not participate in the international project of the lunar Gateway station on the sidelines. He added that a lunar station could be created in conjunction with the BRICS countries.
In the same month, cosmonaut Oleg Kotov told TASS that at the present time the Russian crew on the ISS consists of two, not three, as earlier, due to the lack of funds for the launch of the cargo spacecraft “Progress”.

Talks on creation of a lunar station started in 2013. In September 2017 the United States and Russia signed the agreement on intentions on creation of a lunar station Gateway. The construction of the plant is scheduled for 2022, the accession of the Russian airlock module to it — by 2024.
