Russia tied the White helmets with “al-Qaeda”

The Russian foreign Ministry said that, according to reports, the organization “White helmets” are part of the group “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” (formerly a branch of the international Islamist terrorist organization al-Qaida, banned in Russia). About it reports TASS.

“For anybody not a secret that this structure has worked exclusively in the territories not controlled by the government [of Syria], and did not avoid contact with terrorists and extremists. Moreover, there is ample evidence that White helmets are actually a branch included in the sanctions list of the UN security Council terrorist organization “dzhebhat an-Nusra”,” — said in a statement.

On 31 October the Russian defense Ministry said that members of the organization “White helmets” are trying to attract innocent civilians of Syria to participate in staged provocations in exchange for food.
