The increase in the cost of goods and services called the main problem seven out of ten Russians (72 percent), according to research holding “ROMIR”.
In the history of research above the level of concern high prices and inflation were only in 2014.
In the past year, Russians are most concerned about poverty and low income. Now this problem has moved into second place and is home to 62 percent of respondents.
The third, fourth and fifth places in the rating are occupied, corruption, unemployment and housing problems, respectively. While problems of corruption and job search are concerned the maximum number of Russians in the last five years is 43% and 42% respectively.
Less price growth concerned citizens age 18 to 24 years (62 percent) and residents of cities with a population of 100 thousand people (64 per cent). The maximum level of concern among residents of Metropolitan areas — 84 percent.
In four years the number of Russians who save on clothing and recreation, decreased from 25 to 17 percent. The number of citizens that limit the expenses purchases of goods of the first necessity, for the same period decreased by 7 percent and amounted to 25 percent.
