The right to a healthy environment, a fair trial and fair elections — most violated according to the Russians. This was stated by the head of the Council on human rights (HRC) under the President Mikhail Fedotov, was quoted by “Interfax”.
“First came the right to a healthy environment, the second — the right to a fair trial, the third — the right to fair, free elections. This never happened before, previously violated labor rights, the right to housing and the right to rest. This is very fresh data, I have somehow strained,” — said Fedotov.
According to him, this year the list of the most violated rights has undergone significant changes compared to previous versions.
“We hold every year polls ask citizens what values to them most important, and what rights were violated during the last year. The October data are — the importance of the rights does not change, the same hierarchy: the right to work, on vacation, at home, here in 2014 is the same,” — said the head of the HRC.
