Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has declared that will fight with the American restrictive measures. On Monday, November 5, reports TASS.
“America wanted to bring to zero the sale of Iranian oil, but we will continue to sell our oil to breach sanctions,” — said the politician.
The second package of us sanctions against Iran came into force on 5 November. The prohibitions related to the export of oil, banking and shipping.
According to the President of the United States Donald trump, Iran expects “economic disaster” and the only way to avoid it is to conclude a new comprehensive agreement on the nuclear program with Washington.
The first part of anti-Iranian restrictions came into force on 7 August. It has affected the currency, the automotive sector and the metal market.
In may, Washington issued new sanctions after the decision on the withdrawal from the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program. It was reported that the US plans to “continue to exert maximum pressure on Tehran,” as the restrictive measures imposed prior to the transaction, has not had a strong impact.
May 8, the American leader said the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal. He accused the Iranians in the fulfillment of its terms, and threatened a renewal of the restrictive measures.
Agreement on the terms of Tehran’s nuclear program was signed between Tehran and the six countries-mediators (Russia, USA, Britain, China, France and Germany) in 2015. The agreement imposes restrictions on the activity of Tehran in the nuclear field in exchange for the lifting of sanctions by the UN security Council and US sanctions and the EU.
