Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a government resolution which approved the agreement of the authorities with the oil companies on stabilization of situation on the fuel market, reports TASS.
The execution of the agreement is assigned to the energy Ministry and Federal Antimonopoly service.
“I’ve just signed a decree on the agreement between the Federal Executive authorities and economic entities. On the basis of this regulation, the Ministry of energy together with the Antimonopoly service is obliged to conclude with economic entities the agreement on the adoption of measures for stabilization and development of domestic market of petroleum products,” — said Medvedev.
On 6 November, it was reported that according to the agreements with the government until the end of March for companies to establish clear limits for prices. For example, until January the average price of a liter of AI-92 gasoline in the wholesale market is limited 39,86 ruble, AI-95 — 42,77 rubles, diesel — 43,11 of the ruble.
In February and March, prices will increase only for projected inflation, i.e. 4.3 percent.
The oil companies agree to maintain in the domestic market 17.5% of the produced fuel.
Despite the preliminary agreement, on November 6, the wholesale price of gasoline in the course of trading on 6 November grew on average by 1.4 percent.
