Passengers refused to fly because of the intolerable stench on Board

The aircraft of the airline Sriwijaya Air, coming from the city of Bengkulu on the island of Sumatra, in the Indonesian capital Jakarta was delayed for an hour due to passenger complaints on intolerable stench on Board. Reported by the Daily Mail.

The source of the odor turned out to be an exotic fruit called durian. According to eyewitnesses, the passengers left the aircraft and refused to return while the crew does not get rid of fruits. Some tourists were outraged that the stench threatens their health.

However, the airport staff went to meet the rebellious tourists and extracted two tonnes of durian from the cargo compartment of the aircraft.

The stories of the passengers, the smell was so terrible that many were sick and some even complained of a burning sensation in the throat.
