Half of all outstanding mortgage payments in Russia can be considered bad debt. Such information contains in materials of analysts of the company “Talan” (“Ribbon.ru”).
To bad debts, noted in the company, is the delay on housing loans from 90 days or above. Another 42 percent of debts on the mortgage as of November 2018 are classified as technical delay — the period of non-payment does not exceed 30 days.
In the whole country, the share of overdue loans does not exceed two percent of the issued, according to Talan.
Most debtors mortgage among all regions, according to analysts, the company recorded in Moscow, Karachay-Cherkessia, Chechnya, and the Altai Republic and Buryatia Republic.
“A high proportion of delay in Moscow is connected with low quality borrowers from other regions who buy housing in the capital, — stated in the materials. — In the national republics have the same delay for loans due to the General low-income population.”
Most high-quality mortgage portfolio with a share of delay less than 0.5 per cent observed in Orel and Tambov oblasts, Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous okrugs, the Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol.
