Russian dealer of illegal vodka was extradited from Greece

Citizen of Russia Avtandil Georgieva, who is accused in the trade of illegal alcohol, was extradited from Greece. About it reports “Interfax”.

Georgieva are charged with organizing a criminal community, the production and marketing of commodities and products without marking, and money laundering. The Ministry said that the actual transfer of the Russian criminal law enforcement was at the airport in Athens.

According to investigators, from March 2013 to June 2014, Georgiev has created a criminal community, bringing together several organized groups. The part of his accomplices engaged in illegal trafficking of unmarked vodka of different brands in Volgograd and other regions of Russia.

Thus the criminals have earned 157 million rubles. More than 103 million rubles Georgiev legalized and ordered them at its discretion.

In 2016 he was detained on the territory of Greece. In June of the same year, Russian Prosecutor General’s office sent a request about his extradition for bringing to criminal liability.
