South Korean footballer Lee Chanmin, who plays for the local “Jeju United”, became the participant of road accident that caused the death of one of the passengers. This publication reports the Inquirer Sports.
24-year-old midfielder, traveling in his car, drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with another car. In the accident the driver suffered serious injuries and his 68-year-old passenger were killed.
In conversation with representatives of law enforcement Chanmin already confirmed that indeed drove into the oncoming lane. The midfielder was sober.
Charmin has been held games for the national team of South Korea. He also defended the colors of the national team at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
