The head of the European Council Donald Tusk condemned the “flirting” with Russian President Vladimir Putin politicians who are trying to convince others in the absence of the future of the European Union. This is stated on the organization’s website.
“I would like to emphasize that I see no coincidence in the fact that almost all of Europe all those who are experiencing the enthusiasm in connection with the British exit from the EU, who are more or less delighted by the further steps of Washington’s isolationism, those who with increasing intensity flirting with Vladimir Putin, trying to convince us that the EU has no future”, — noted in his statement.
According to the head of the European Council, policies that embrace nationalism in Europe and rely on the disintegration pose a “fundamental threat”.
November 7, Tusk, until 2014, held the post of Prime Minister of Poland, said Warsaw might “accidentally” leave the EU because of a conflict with Brussels. He noted that party leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski on the verge and could trigger the release of Poland from the EU simple mistake.
