In early November, the Deputy of the city Duma argued for the complete abolition of old age pensions in the country and proposed to keep only disability payments. “Personally, I am for abolishing all concepts of “retirement age” and the structure of the Pension Fund. I am against raising the age of retirement, as against the very idea of retirement,” wrote Peter in Facebook.

In September, retirement age for women was increased from 55 to 60 years for men from 60 to 65 years. For MPs and senators there is a pension Supplement for the experience more than five years.
