A powerful cyclone with low pressure is moving towards Central Russia from Siberia. It will bring strong winds and snowfall, told the “Russian newspaper” the head of the laboratory of the hydrometeorological centre Lyudmila Parshina.
Atmospheric vortex will affect almost the whole of Siberia, the Urals, North and East of European Russia and reach Moscow.
In the capital, the impact of the cyclone will be felt from November 22. The temperature will remain at the same level, 2-4 degrees Celsius, but the wind speed may reach up to 15 meters per second.
In some regions wind will strengthen up to 20 meters per second, which threatens to damage buildings and roofs. Storm values can be observed in the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, as well as in the Yamal and Ugra. Three days of snowfall are predicted in the Volga region, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions.
