In the German state of Baden-württemberg, the court sentenced a swimming coach to 12 years in prison for sexual abuse of 37 wards. About this reports Deutsche Welle.
The man admitted his guilt and repented of his actions. “I’m ashamed of what I did,” he said, giving confessions in court.
Victims of 34-year-old men were girls aged four to 12 years. Some of them, he was threatened with reprisals if they complain to parents. According to the materials of the case, the offender had committed violent acts of a sexual nature in the pool and in the changing rooms. One of the witnesses also said that he used an underwater camera, which was recording their actions.
Only the man was charged with more than 200 allegations of sexual harassment, including the dissemination of child pornography with the participation of 40 girls. It is noted that the three victims could not be identified, so a few of the charges had to be removed.
The police arrested the suspect, whose name was not disclosed, in September 2017, after the parents of two victims complained about him to the police.
