Georgia was refused entry to the author of “jumble”

Georgian border guards were not allowed into the country, the artistic head of children’s newsreel “jumble” Boris Grachevsky and his wife Veronica Belotserkovsky. About it reports “Georgia Satellites”.

The Minister of internal Affairs George Gakharia explained the refusal of entry by the fact that the Russians had violated the law “On occupied territories”. “We have a lot of reason to not let into our country of undesirable people. What we have done, including for the reason that the court violated the “Law of occupation”,” — explained the official.

Georgian law forbids entry to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which Tbilisi considers its side Russia without the consent of the Georgian authorities. The law was passed after Russia’s recognition of independence of two Transcaucasian republics.

Grachevsky with his wife went to Tbilisi for the festival “the Date — a cinematographic novel”, which aims to popularize Russian cinema and the strengthening of cultural ties between peoples.
