Poroshenko was accused of wanting to have total control

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the eve of elections seeks to fully control the media of the country. This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in an interview with journalist Sonia Koshkina, the recording is available on YouTube.

“This has never happened. Neither Kuchma, nor Yushchenko, nor Yanukovych. This desire to control the media”, — said Kolomoisky. He added that this is due to the upcoming presidential elections that Ukraine will be in March 2019. The number of channels that are secretly owned by Poroshenko, Kolomoisky called the channel “Direct”.

The oligarch said that he doubted the re-election of incumbent Ukrainian President. “99 percent impossible that Poroshenko wins the presidential elections”, — said Kolomoisky. If Poroshenko-elected for a second term, the oligarch has promised to publicly declare that does not understand the political process and “retire”.

Kolomoisky is not the only one who declares the system pressure on the Ukrainian media and journalists. Earlier, on 19 November, after another attack by radicals, a reporter for the opposition TV channel NewsOne, the head of the National Council of journalists of Ukraine Sergey Tomilenko caught politicians in antidiureticescoe aggressive rhetoric, which triggers new attacks.
