Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on the appeared information in the press about the proposal to change the Supreme commander Vladimir Putin in a military uniform. It is reported RIA Novosti on Wednesday, November 21.
“The Kremlin has not reacted to such an offer. We first time hear. I’ll leave it without comments”, — Peskov said, answering the relevant question.
Earlier Wednesday, RTVI edition, citing its sources reported that in the government are seriously discussing the idea to put the President, Ministers and the entire civil service in the uniforms or paramilitary form. Supporters of the initiative believe that it will help raise the power rating. “The President is the commander in chief. He has a right to wear military uniform. If it is in certain cases will wear shoulder straps, all will benefit from this,” said the source in defense Ministry.
