In October 2018, the FSB has prevented a number of attacks on schools in the regions of Russia. On Thursday, November 22, with reference to the Deputy head of the intelligence service Sergey Egorov, reports “Interfax”.
“After the events in Kerch we are only in the month of October has prevented a number of real attacks on schools,” said Egorov, speaking at a round table in the Federation Council on safety issues in educational institutions. He stressed that all these attacks are not connected with international terrorism.
According to the representative of the FSB, the legislation on security of educational institutions must be improved.
Since the beginning of the year in the Russian educational institutions have been four high-profile incident — a fight with a stabbing in Perm (injured 15 people), attack of the pupil of the ninth class in Ulan-Ude (seven people injured), an attack of a schoolboy in his classmate with a kitchen knife in the Kaluga region. In mid-October in Kerch fourth year student Vladislav Roslyakov opened fire and detonated a bomb in a Polytechnic College. Killed 21 people, injured more than 50, Roslyakov killed himself in the College library.
