Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev suggested the head of the Ministry of labor Maxim Topilin to consider the possibility of admission to the civil service of people with disabilities. About it reports TASS.
It’s an idea the Prime Minister was filed by the representatives of all-Russian public organizations of invalids, whom he met the day before.
“It’s an interesting idea, including from the point of view of inclusiveness, as the official with health restrictions, will be much harder to deny a person with disabilities. And then — really, are people who are in the civil service, it is likely to work better than many others, and even to lead by example,” said he.
Medvedev has proposed to start with the Ministry of labour and social protection.
Federal laws provide obstacles for admission to the civil service of the person with disabilities. The applicant must not have any contraindications to the performance of the tasks written in the job description. Employment is on a competitive basis.
