A former adviser to the interior Minister of Ukraine Ilya Kiva told about the drunkenness of the President of Petro Poroshenko during Euromaidan. Memories he had shared on a talk show “Ukrainian format” on the TV channel Newsone.
According to the politician, the participants of Euromaidan were divided into two categories: those who have been “on the barricades with a 40-degree cold, frostbitten fingers,” and “the second floor in the House of trade unions” (the headquarters of the protesters — approx. “Of the tape.ru”), who was “soaked in brandy, honey caviar and drunken persons.”
“It was scary, and we wanted to ask someone. To hear what we do next, because we are killing. And I saw that the second floor where the went drunk Poroshenko, it’s true. When he threw out on the street drunk and barely tongue dragged is also true. I remember buhogo Klitschko. And then it all mixed up in my head,” — said Kiva.
Earlier in the broadcast program “Big Tuesday” the people of Ukraine stated that it would not have taken part in protests of Euromaidan. In total, the survey involved 9387.
On November 21, Ukraine marked the fifth anniversary of the Euromaidan events.
In the fall of 2013 and winter of 2014, Ukraine held mass protests against the government, which the country has undergone a regime change. Former President Viktor Yanukovych and several other former Ministers were forced to leave the territory of the state. During the armed confrontation of the protesters with the security forces have killed 106 people. The event is called Maidan (Euromaidan), as the largest protest was held on independence square in Kiev.
