More than 100 soldiers of the Nigerian army were killed by militants “Boko Haram” (banned in Russia as a terrorist organization) over the past few days. This was announced by Reuters sources in the power structures.
As noted, the attack occurred in the North-East of the country. The biggest clash took place on 18 November in the area of the Snowstorm in Borno state.
According to the Senate — the upper house of Parliament — the victims of the terrorists were 44 military. At the same time, four sources of the Agency’s claim that it is only during this attack killed almost 100 people. According to the fifth interviewee, in recent days killed 96 members of the army, of which the vast majority in the Snowstorm.
According to Reuters, in recent months, Islamist militants have killed several hundred soldiers. This was the turning point in the war against terrorists, which the administration of the current President of Nigeria, Mohammed Buhari, has called won.
