In Moscow will show the photo story of one of the most unusual settlements in Russia

“Ribbon.ru” in cooperation with the cinema “pioneer” will open the exhibition “Svetlana”, a documentary photographer and sociologist Maria Gelman.

The opening of the exhibition will take place in the “Pioneer” November 30. The exhibition will last until the end of the year. Entrance to the exhibition is free.

“Svetlana” — a photo project dedicated to one of the most unusual settlements in Russia. In the settlement of only four houses, where, together with volunteers and teachers are free-living men with mental characteristics.

The territory of the settlement is 40 hectares of land, which include private garden land. With no fences and nurses.

Maria Gelman is a documentary photographer and sociologist from St. Petersburg. She became a laureate of many competitions, such as the Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award the 2018, Istanbul Photo Awards, the international competition of photojournalism in the name of Andrei Stenina.
