Russia asked for an urgent UN security Council because of the provocation of Ukraine

Russia has requested the urgent convening of the UN security Council in connection with the provocative actions of the Ukrainian military in the black sea water area. This was announced by the Deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation at the world organization’s Dmitry Polyanskiy, reports RIA Novosti.

“Russia has requested the urgent convening of a meeting open to the public on the morning of 26 November, on the agenda item “Maintenance of international peace and security”” — he explained, adding that the meeting is tentatively scheduled for 11 am local time (19.00 GMT).

Earlier intention to request a meeting of the world organization also announced the Ambassador of Ukraine Vladimir elchenko. Also in the administration of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the foreign Minister is mandated to “promptly inform the country’s “Big seven” and members of the UN Security Council”.
