Russia refused to worry about new sanctions

Moscow is not concerned with the question of the introduction in respect of new sanctions because of the situation in the Kerch Strait. This was stated at a press conference the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

“About the sanctions. I don’t know. We have long ceased to worry”, — quotes its words of RIA Novosti. Thus, according to Lavrov, any restriction is bad.

He also noted that the incident is “a clear provocation”, organized with the permission of senior management in Kiev. The Minister added that the ships of naval forces of Ukraine “had violated key provisions of international law”, and their actions created threats and risks to normal traffic.

In addition, Lavrov said that the possible introduction of martial law in Ukraine is an attempt of the authorities “in General to steer clear of the situation that the population is perceived more and more negatively.”
