The Chairman of the accounts chamber Alexey Kudrin said that there is no need to regulate fuel prices in the state, reports “Kommersant”.
“The previous 20 years, our market economy has shown that, in principle, the price of gasoline can be formed on market terms, arrange all, to be quite stable,” — said Kudrin.
In his opinion, should maintain competition among companies that engage in oil refining. With the excise tax on gasoline is necessary to address very carefully. New increase in excise duties, as Kudrin said, would create new risks.
“And that increase, a new increase of the excise tax on gasoline, of course, creates new risks,”— said the head of the accounting chamber.
After spike in gasoline prices, the government in November signed an agreement with fuel companies to freeze fuel prices in the domestic market until March 2019. Until January, the average price of a liter of AI-92 gasoline in the wholesale market should not exceed 39,86 ruble, AI-95 — 42,77 rubles, diesel — 43,11 of the ruble.
Soon after freezing prices, the fuel market said the supply disruptions of gasoline in the wholesale and retail segments. Independent companies that did not participate in the meeting with the government, said that the big players, redistributing power in favor of their own networks of stations, changed the terms of sales on the domestic market.
