Belarus does not support the proposal to once again extend the terms of the existing regulations of the distribution of amounts of import customs duties. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

The head of Belarus at the meeting with the heads of member States of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU), said that the issue of calculation of standards of distribution of import customs duties is still open.

Offer once again to extend the terms of existing standards, as Lukashenka said, absolutely unprofitable for Belarus and puts the country at a disadvantage relative to other members of the EEU. In his opinion, need to find a fair solution.

“It is clear to everyone. And here, perhaps, should be less politics, and still more of the economy”, — stressed the head of state.

Standards customs duties established by the contract of 11 April 2017. According to him, Belarus receives 4.56 percent of the duties, Kazakhstan — 7,055 per cent, Kyrgyzstan — 1.9 percent, Russia — 85,265 percent and Armenia’s state budget comes 1.22 percent. May 14, 2018, the expiration of these regulations extend, until 31 December 2019.
