Irish football club “Ballybrack”, which plays in Amateur League, announced one of their players dead. It is reported by Deadspin.

23 November on the eve of game with “Arklow town” the club has informed the League that the footballer Fernando La Fuente died in a car accident. The meeting was cancelled. In other matches of the round, the players of other teams out on the field with black armbands and had a minute of silence.

Representatives of the League have decided to extend our condolences to the family of the deceased La Fuente. “Ballybrack” they said that the body sent home to the player in Spain. It soon became clear that the player is alive and he left home a few weeks before the fraud.

In his address on Facebook guide “Ballybrack” apologized for the deception and blamed the incident on human action, “experiencing deep personal problems”.
