The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko really sought phone conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in connection with the incident in the Kerch Strait. This informed the Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, reports “Interfax” on Wednesday, November 28.
“In the preparation of such contacts is evaluated by a number of factors, in particular, compatibility charts, and analysis purposes that one or the other party puts in front of such a conversation. Here with this query was, and the conversation was not” — he said.
In the words of Poroshenko, Kiev, the Kremlin sent a request for a telephone conversation with Putin, but received no response. The Ukrainian President noted that he had to turn to German Chancellor Angela Merkel with a request to talk with the Russian leader.

Three warships of Ukraine was detained by Russian border guards on 25 November. The captains did not respond to requests of the Russian side to stop committing dangerous maneuvers in Russian border.
