In a joint operation by the Russian investigative Committee and FSB in Chechnya detained two members of the gang Basaev—Khattab, who took an active part in the famous battle at the “height 776”, during which killed 84 Pskov paratroopers. “November 28, in Chechnya, was detained and then taken into custody two previously unknown members of a gang of Basayev. This 43-year-old Najmudin Dudiyeva and 41-year-old Ibrahim Donchev. In the near future they will be charged under article “armed rebellion”, “participation in a gang” and “the encroachment on life of military servicemen”,” — said Petrenko.
She said that in a criminal case about this fight is condemned already 13 participants in the clashes, including a member of the UNA-UNSO (banned in Russia) Alexander Malofeyev, a citizen of Ukraine. Currently the court on two attackers.
