Russian tourist died in India

Tourist from Russia died in a hospital in Mapusa, India for a heart attack. This publication reports The Times of India.

35-year-old Russian arrived in Goa in the company of her husband and five friends. After a few weeks of rest she complained of feeling unwell, after which the woman was taken to the hospital.

In some hours she has died from acute primary myocardial infarction. Since her husband did not speak English, the Russian Embassy sent an interpreter who helped to explain to the police the circumstances of the incident.

Law enforcement officials ruled out the possibility of death because of a drug overdose.

In October, two men raped a Russian tourist who was vacationing at the Indian resort town of Manali. 33-year-old Russian, who came to India as part of the research group, stated to the police that two men attacked her when she returned to the hotel. According to the victim, the men dragged her to the car, drove him to a quiet place and raped her.
