Ukrainian boxer sent the world champion in the knockout and in the intensive care unit

Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson was in intensive care in critical condition after fight with Ukrainian Alexander Carnations. This was announced by his promoter Ivan Mikel on Twitter.

Carnations have suffered a series of heavy blows to the Adonis at the end of the 11th round, and the canadian managed to stay on his feet. After the battle, he was unable to talk with reporters, he was immediately sent to the hospital. Now he is in the ICU in a hospital in Quebec, where the battle took place.

“Adonis is now in critical condition, he is in intensive care. The family appreciates the care and support of all who had. They respectfully request to respect the right to privacy. Comment has yet to be,” wrote Mikel.

Carnations were taken from the 41-year-old Stevenson the title of world champion under version WBC light heavyweight title. He has now 16 wins in 16 fights, 13 of them he won by knockout. The canadian won 29 times, lost twice, another battle with his participation ended in a draw.
