According to policy, the proposal to abolish the draft and to refuse to support it — it’s too hard, “too radical” measures. At the same time, she believes that Germany could reduce gas supplies through the pipeline.
Crump, Karrenbauer in this regard, noted that Russia remained the supplier of gas to Germany even during the cold war.
The Secretary General of the CDU is one of three main candidates for the post of party Chairman. Together with her office will fight the former head of the CDU and the Christian social Union (CSU) in the Bundestag, Friedrich Merz and health Minister Jens span.
Germany, whose companies — Uniper and Wintershall are the investors of the “Nord stream-2”, traditionally advocates of the project. In late November the Minister of economy and energy Peter Altmaier stated that the pipeline in any case must be completed.
Against the implementation of the “Nord stream-2” are Ukraine, Poland (which also applies for the transit of Russian gas through its territory) and the USA (who are going to supply their gas to Europe). The pipeline will connect Russia with Western Europe, he must earn at the end of 2019.
