A court in Sweden found the photographer Jean-Claude Arnault guilty in another rape and increased the sentence to 2.5 years. On Monday, December 3, reports Reuters.

The details of the crime were not disclosed.

In October the husband of a member of the Swedish Academy of Katharina Frostenson, photographer Jean-Claude Arnault was sentenced to two years imprisonment for the rape that occurred in 2011. The victim’s name was not disclosed. The court upheld the guilty verdict in force.

Due to the fact that a total of 18 women claimed abuse by Jean-Claude Arnault, a decision was made to postpone the award of the Nobel prize for literature in 2018. It was noted that the photographer had used his position to persuade women to have sex.

Since 1901, the Swedish Academy awarded annually to the famous writers and scientists the Nobel prize for literature.
